Italien, Ende 19. Jahrhundert. Gelber und weiß-grauer Alabaster. H. 9,1 cm, D. 7,8 cm. Auf Sockelring frontal eingeritzt: Templum Vesta. Altersspuren, minim. best., Verbindung zwischen Tempel u. Sockelring wohl nachträglich etwas erneuert. Miniatur des antiken Tempels auf dem Forum Boarium in Rom, der früher als Heiligtum der Göttin Vesta galt, nun aber gesichert Herkules zugeschrieben wird. Der Sockel ist als Ring mit einer Breite von ca. 1,7 cm gearbeitet.
